Viewer file access and Model naming
Owners can now let an individual Viewer read all files and text Notes in Models they can already access, including content hidden from Viewers. This applies to both Internal and External Viewers in the current Workspace, on desktop and mobile.
On desktop, open Workspace Settings → Members, select the Viewer, enable View all files in accessible Models in Access, and choose Save Changes. The option is off by default and can be revoked from the same place. Grants and revocations are recorded in the Workspace Audit Log.
The Viewer can find the content in the Files and Notes lists and search, open previews, download files, export Notes as PDFs, and include accessible files in ZIP downloads. Their role and assigned Models remain the same. The permission does not allow editing or access to previous file versions created with Replace. Messages and Drive links hidden from Viewers, Conversation content, and Chat access continue to follow their existing rules.
Use a name suffix with multiple User Groups
You can now assign multiple User Groups when creating Models on desktop and still append one group's code to each name. Adding a suffix no longer requires assigning only one User Group.
Use Append selected user group code to choose which assigned group supplies the suffix. Only assigned groups with a code appear in the menu.
Review PREVIEW before creating one or multiple Models. For example,
MODEL-01 with group code ACM becomes MODEL-01_ACM. The Model's Code field
remains separate. Choose None or Clear selected user group code to leave
the names without a suffix. Removing the chosen group also clears the suffix
selection.
